Miami (Oh) Red Hawks by 12
Alright, put away your calculators folks and buckle up. We're looking at the Massachusetts Minutemen heading off to face the Miami (Oh) Red Hawks. The last time the two teams met, Miami (Oh) came out on top with a 41-28 victory. Yes, you heard it right, the Red Hawks flew high that night.
Digging into this season, the Minutemen have gathered a modest 1-3 record while the Red Hawks are still searching for their first victory with a 0-3 standing. Looks like they've been having trouble finding their talons this season.
Talk about game changers - we got Minutemen's QB, Taisun Phommachanh, putting up some respectable numbers recently, throwing 846 yards with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. However, Brett Gabbert of the Red Hawks seems to be tossing the ball like he's playing hot potato, only mustering about 685 yards and 2 touchdowns paired with a whopping 5 interceptions - mamba mia, that's a lot of charity work!
Offensive standouts from the Minutemen include Jalen John and Jakobie James. And let's just say, they've had a busy month, racking up solid yardage and scores. For the Red Hawks, Cade McDonald and Kevin Davis have been the shiny feathers in their wing, both showcasing glimpses of brilliance despite a lackluster team performance.
As for the backroom boys, we can't overlook the defensive efforts. Massachusetts' Derrieon Craig and Te Rai Powell have been a brick wall with a dozen tackles each in the last month. Miami's Matthew Salopek meanwhile, has been doing his own version of a tango with opposing offences, marking up 22 tackles himself.
The finishes here have more ups and downs than a rollercoaster ride in Disneyland. However based on their form, efficiency and the force they'll bring to the field, I've got a prediction for you.
