Ladies and gentlemen, here we go again with another hot college football matchup. This time we have the Kentucky Wildcats traveling to the arena of the 6th ranked Ole Miss Rebels, promising a fantastic showdown out there on the gridiron.
Our Wildcat QBs Brock Vandagriff and Gavin Wimsatt have been playing more like kittens lately, managing zero touchdowns and two interceptions between them in the past month. Jaxson Dart of the Rebels, on the other hand, is darting the field like he's on fire, posting 12 touchdowns and only two interceptions with a whopping 219.4 passer efficiency rating. Austin Simmons came through with a pretty decent backup performance.
Kentucky boasts offensive stars like Demie Sumo-Karngbaye and Dane Key, who strived to weave their magic against opponents in the last month. On the Rebel side of the line, Tre Harris and Henry Parrish appear to be in peak form providing a juggernaut offense winning their last four games - other-side-of-the-coin stuff.
Defensively, things have been faring quite differently for both teams. Kentucky's top performer is D'Eryk Jackson with six tackles in the last month, whereas Chris Paul of Ole Miss is out there playing like he's in the NFL, stacking up 21 tackles and two sacks.
Now, I'm not the type to dance around predictions like I'm auditioning for Dancing with the Stars, but if you put a gun to my head and ask me to pick a winner, I'd say the Ole Miss Rebels' relentless offense and sturdy defense are likely gonna overpower those Wildcats.
Albert’s Prediction: Ole Miss Rebels by 18.
